Pisa and Lucca

We drove to Pisa first, not in a hurry figured the suns up till 10pm so no need to rush. We may have parked a little far from the Field of dreams, but we saw a bit more of Pisa and we need exercise. First glimpse of the Leaning tower was a peek over a tree. While we walked up to the tower Daz was haggling for a new pair of sunnies from the little african hawkers who disappear as soon as a cop shows up. We all had a go at holding up the tower and you can see in the background all the ppl doing the same thing. Daz thought he should make it look a little ruder..... I got a picture of sam taking his pic. Sam wanted to hug it sand give it a kiss.... once again I just took a pic as Daz was taking it so the angle isnt as good. i will let the pictures speak for Pisa... other than the Field of Dreams there doesnt seem to be much too it.
Lucca is one of the few walled towns left with a complete wall. You can actually walk around the whole awall on the top of it. It is as wide as a street. Its a very impressive wall and a cute town. They built the wall not to keep out intruders or attackers but to keep out Florence who Lucca thought was expanding their town too much.. This was in the 1500's but the finished the wall in the 1600's!!

Siena tomorrow not sure what else will see how the day plans out... oh did i mention we had 2 lunches today???? We had crap infront of the Tower and then walked past an indian resturaunt and we all know how Daz feels about his curry. Well we had butter chicken which was green in colour. Tika Marsala and Chicken korma. It was all good different from what we expected it to taste like but good still. The first lunch was crap roast pork ande crappy pizza and crap roast chicken... we really have to learn to only order italian food in italian resturaunts cause they are really bad at the normal sounding stuff!! So no tea for us tonight :)   maybe some fruit if we get the munchies...  We also saw a deer on the way up our dirt/gravel road..... couldn't get any closer..
