Cinque Terre the five towns

We decided since it was too hazy to do the trains to the 4th town and then walk the last and boat back in the hope the photos from the water would be clearer. Its a very hazy place. Anyone know why?? Anyways catching a train from town to town is very simple buy an all day ticket and you can walk the trails or catch the trains. With Sam's foot we decided to do only the last walk 'lovers walk'. So we trained to Vernazza, very pretty as they all are set into the side of the mountain with all their colours. The locals must have killer calf muscles walking up all those hills!!The  boats are dragged halfway up the mountain when they are not using them!! I have no idea how they accomplish this. We then went to Corniglia, this is where we made the mistake of not catching the bus from the train station to town. We didn't realise it was an option. So Sam and I waited around for the boys to run up the mountain to have a quick look and then we moved on to the next town we may go back tomorrow, Manarola is another pretty town we had lunch there it was not good, so we will forget it :) But now desert was something else, 2 pastries filled with chocolate Sam died and went to heaven. We also found Mojito in a can!! now we dont think it was alcoholic but dang it tasted good. The next town was Riomaggiore we where going to stay there but I really think we made the better choice with Monterosso especially with Sams foot. It is a flat town which is fantastic!! Riomaggiore is one of the bigger towns(Monterosso is the biggest) we did the walk from Manarola to there it was only 20 mins but it is HOT out there 34 and its a bit sticky tooo. It is great if you are not hiking, just sitting around or cruising around town it really is a lovely temp. Riomaggiore is very steep it is insane to think how they built the houses into the side of the mountain, they must be all part mountain goat!!! Anyways i'll post some pics I only took 120 today! Will do a mobile upload of what we have for dinner.

If anyone is curious how we are getting internet etc, this is what we did. We all bought 10.00euro italian sim cards and the added 1euro for free text then added 20 euro credit. With our phones we can use them as a WiFi hotspot which my notebook can use as its modem, to upload pics etc. My phone also as an app for the blog so I can just take a pic and type something real quick and upload. It is as easy as!! So while I wait for Boyd to shower I write the big blogs and then teh dinner etc are the quickies. Clear?? Ok Onto some pictures they really do not do this place justice!!! Oh and all the boys out there .... tops are optional on the beach. We have helped Daz and Boyd out with a clip to the head to put their eyeballs back in their sockets ;)
