What a great day ,slow morning, eggs for breaky. Drove through poggibonsi just cause the name was cool. Too modern looking. Drove to san gimignano one of the walled cities left. It was stunning. It also is famous for the amount of towers it still has standing.Guess who picked up her camera without having a battery in it! Oh well lucky for phones. We had a good look around there And had a fabulous lunch, one our best so far. Then we went to volterra the name is one twighlight stole, yet it wasn't filmed there. The had some cool ruins of an outdoor theater from 1300 ad they then stole some of the building materials to make the baths in the 1400 and 1500' s it was very cool. we also picked up mossamo and maximus. We both bought medieval soldier helmets. They should be fun to get home but I predict they shall be great fun at our parties. Tonight its dinner in and spaghetti bol with flavour ,garlic and herbs will be used. Going to try to be in bed early so we can be up bright and spark for our balloon ride, and we also bought 2 bottles of wine today ! While the boys do a fishing tour tomorrow arvo we will be doing a wine tour of the place we are staying. Should be good , here are a few pics of today I will do a big upload in sorrentto in a week when we have free WiFi again.
